- Do your products contain artificial or synthetic fragrances?
Fragrances can refer to essential oils, synthetic fragrance or natural fragrance and each can be present by itself or in combination with each other in a product formula. With regard to fragrance the majority of MENKOI products contain only natural fragrance and essential oils. When synthetic fragrance is used in certain products it is necessary to ensure product.
- Do you test on animals?
No. We at Menkoi are against animal testing and cruelty. We only test our products on humans only.
- Are your products hypoallergenic?
Hypoallergenic is a term coined by advertisers (based on the Greek prefix hypo meaning "below normal" or "slightly") and first used in a cosmetics campaign in 1953. Any consumer could at any time, find themselves allergic to any ingredient. Menkoi uses ingredients that are mild and plant based so allergic reactions are rare. However, it is recommended when using any new product to do a patch test on your skin.

So the thing about Menkoi Matte Wax. Our product will not let you lose hair. It will help hair grow stronger, thicker with every twist in your hair style.
- Why is Menkoi waxes wrapped in plastic?
We have many reasons why we wrap the product in plastic. One reason is to keep the wax moist to the touch. Our products are made from natural certified organic raw material with all natural preserves. We do not use any chemicals to keep the product moist. Another reason is for “packaging purpose”. At Menkoi we strive to be unique and different in every possible way. We want it to imitate bubble gum wrapping in a hair wax way.
- How can we increase the storing life of Menkoi if its all organic?
Lets just say that this product is food for your hair. For example, you are suppose to refrigerate food after opening right? You then put the food in the refrigerator to keep it to a curtain temperature. This will increase the storing life and the quality of the product. The wax is the same way but its not food to be consume. The storing life is 4-6 months without the use of refrigeration, but with refrigeration it increase to 7-8 months.
- Can I get Menkoi samples and coupons?

- What are these small dark particles that i see in the hair waxes?
Our products are made from 100% organic natural raw ingredients. The particles that you see are mixture of healthy minerals, plant seeds, and herb powders. When mixing natural ingredients, it is normal that particles separates. These particles are completely harmless!
- Why is there a oxygen package in the Menkoi waxes?
Our products are made from natural organic ingredients. Therefore it is necessary to have this in the product. The oxygen absorber will be able to keep the product stable without any air exposure. If the product is exposed to air for long periods of time, it will change the Menkoi products color and texture. So please keep the oxygen package in the Menkoi.
