Benefits of Organic Hair Products

Benefits of Using Organic Hair Products

By: Aysha Schurman
Organic hair products are no longer just for stereotypical hippies or celebrities on a crusade. As various societies become more concerned with environmental issues, people are buying more products that help limit overall chemical intake or pollution. Though organic hair products have the obvious benefit of being environmentally friendly, there are also far more complicated rewards.
Always be careful when purchasing organic care products, though. Unless the product has a government seal for being certified organic, or has a stamp that says it's 100 percent organic, it probably contains chemicals. Many natural and organic products have a majority of healthy ingredients, with some very nasty chemical ingredients mixed in.
Better for environment
It's a basic fact that the more you process and alter a substance, the more energy you waste and pollution you produce. This is one of the big benefits of organic hair care products. Because the ingredients forgo chemicals and stick with nature, they simply create less damage to the environment. They also tend to be better for washing down the drain, more biodegradable in landfills and safer for animals on either water or land.
Better for personal health
By skipping harsh chemicals, organic hair products are simple better for your body. Every single thing you rub into your skin or coat your hair with goes into your body. Even hair conditioner can rub off on your skin and leave a residue. Good or bad, this chemical-laden residue is processed by the body. The overall effects of this chemical build-up in our bodies are what cause potential medical issues.
Better for hair health
Whatever product you use on your hair will effect your hair, obviously. This is not only true is the short term, but in the long term as well. Though the newest chemical-ridden hair product may produce shine or curl in the short term, regular use usually causes long term damage. However, organic hair products avoid harsh elements, gradually nourishing your hair to its healthiest state. That healthy hair look comes from actual healthy hair.
Better during pregnancy
You should always consult a doctor about potential benefits and problems with everyday products if you become pregnant. Organic hair products, as well as a host of more natural personal care products, are usually a healthy choice for pregnant women. By reducing the number of harmful chemicals and potential allergens, these products help keep both mother and baby safe.
Better to make at home
As anyone who as ever tried to make a modern, chemically processed hair product at home knows, it's difficult if not impossible. However organic hair care products are simple and cheap to make yourself. They usually require a modest amount of easily bought ingredients that are combined in a simple manner.

Spitfire (Original Mix) - Porter Robinson (HD)

Menkoi is always on the lookout for the "fresh" new thing, music and also talent. I would like to feature an endorser of Menkoi who loves our product. He is a young Dj with amazing talent. Here is a little description of him.

Unlikely doesn't even begin to describe Porter Robinson's rapid ascent to the forefront of the world of dance music. Hailing from North Carolina, 18-year-old Porter Robinson had never set foot in a club when his smash hit "Say My Name" shot to number one on Beatport's Electro-House chart, making people do just that on dancefloors and DJ booths across the globe. Complex yet catchy, and classic yet cutting edge, Porter Robinson's instantly recognizable sound has earned him the raving support of legendary producers such as Tiesto, Paul Van Dyk, David Guetta, The Crystal Method and Armand Van Helden, and landed him shows across the globe – all before he has even had the chance to finish high school. Some might call Porter a prodigy, but that label belies his musical maturity and ignores his years of production experience, which reveal themselves in the way he blends the best of seemingly distinct genres into a style uniquely his own. His massive electro hooks paired with nasty dubstep warbles and shimmering trance breakdowns transcend tired genre adjectives like "progressive" or "fidget", taking listeners into an uncharted territory of hard-hitting
house music.

Menkoi Creative clay review

So I decided to get a haircut, like really short. I just wanted a cleaner cut and something different so I got this. This hairstyle is Jisung’s hair from Protect my Boss drama. If I spike up the front, it’s the same hairstyle as Park Min Woo from Flower Boy Ramen Shop. I shaved the sides off and got the middle permed. It’s clean and sharp and I like it but at times I miss my old hair. Kinda unique since not many people would do it.
I used MENKOI clay wax this time not the organic one
I actually like both waxes. I feel like I get a different hairstyle when I use them. It’s because one of the wax is a softer wax feel while the clay wax has a hard feel to it. I like the strong feel but I feel like I get a better hairstyle with the organic one.
Style: 9.5/10
Smell: 10/10 (It’s a clay wax but it smells really good)
Hold: 10/10

MENKOI Creative Clay Review
—-
This is a much stronger product than the Matte Wax I used last time. I’m not a fan of the “loose shuffle” look cus it’s too flat. I like volume. Creative Clay gives me volume and hold without making my scalp feel greasy. It shapes spikes well, too. The end result is pretty similar to the purple Gatsby wax but the feel of the two products is very different. Purple Gatsby feels very dense, stiff and kinda heavy when you scoop it from the container. MENKOI C.C. feels less dense and much lighter. (This is just a mere observation in differences.) MENKOI smells delicious.. like green apples. Ultimately, I do not pick favorites when it comes to hair products. If they work, I will use them all. Gatsby works. MENKOI works, too. :)

Menkoi Matte Wax Review

My video won’t upload so here is my MENKOI organic wax review.
So one of my followers asked for my address and told me he would send me wax. I thought it was one of those scams so I didn’t follow through until Han told me it wasn’t a scam in tinychat one day and she loves the wax.  Ani and Peter tried the wax and they like it as well. I like my hair to be perfect even when it’s windy. This wax is a bit on the weak side but it holds pretty good. After I wax it how I like it, I hairsprayed it. For those who want my hairstyle, you have to understand that I have a slight perm. It looks like this http://abstruseness.tumblr.com/post/14385182639 when I air dry it. This wax is organic and it smells so good. My hair smells like strawberries until I end up putting on hairspray. This product is perfect except a bit harder would be nice and he told me he’s working on a clay wax right now. Oh yeah, this works a lot better than Gatsby.
